Sniper 470 is the 1st screen project Billy has worked on after finishing the major filming for LOTR. Billy's character is not yet know for the project but this small amount of info was released on a Scottish Television website -

"SNIPER 470 - Writer/Director: Paul Holmes, Producer: Michael Hines  
 
The Gunner sits in the pod and waits, hiding out on the surface of a small asteroid, many millions of miles away from the Earth. This is Sniper 470. His task is to destroy convoys of ships that cross the Trojan Asteroid Belt, using video controlled laser artillery – and, with a little luck, survive the convoys’ own lethal broadsides.  
 
In the long stretches between firefights, the Gunner has to maintain his craft and his sanity in complete isolation, zero gravity and extremes of heat and cold."

And the following info was released by Billy's official site on the 25 - 03 - 02:

"Just to update you on two new projects that Billy is working on. The first is a short film directed by Paul Holmes called Sniper470. Billy is due to start filming this movie shortly." 

I imagine Billy will be playing the character talked but more info will be available as the plot becomes clearer.

Sniper470 looks set to be a TV film in Scotland and the UK later this year or early next, but there is no news of it being released anywhere else in the World.
